I’m a Geology student. I’m in the 1^st course of the Geology degree at the University of Barcelona, faculty of earth sciences.

I like geology because since I was a child, I picked up rocks of mountains and then at home, I classified them. Nowadays, I spend many hours on the mountains running and I enjoy seeing geological landscapes.

Also, I take care about my bonsais, maintaining all plants of my home, collect minerals and I have a lot of interest in stratigraphy, sedimentary rocks, and the history of the earth in general. In the future I would like to work conserving the geological landscape because humans are destroying what has been formed over many millions of years.

I decided to join the Student Chapter because I want to spend my time improving and expanding my knowledge about geology and I want do more field trips.
