My name is Adrià Filella and I am a geology student, currently finishing my 4th degree year.

My first related experiences with geology came along initially from being interested in minerals. Since I joined SGA-SEG chapter I’ve been involved in some activities like coffee stands and informative talk assistance, thus recent experiences gave me a different approach on how a geologist can take part on a huge variety of fields.

I am currently working on my final degree project, studying the provenance of Carboniferous sandstones located in SW Catalonia, however, my interests are mainly focused in other disciplines like endogenous petrology and ore deposits.

Apart from geology, my hobbies lies basically on music, where I play drums on a local metal band.
