Thomas Aiglsperger
Young Scientist
I studied Applied Geosciences at the University of Leoben (Austria) where I graduated in 2010.
Afterwards I worked for ILF Consulting Engineers for half a year. Currently I am doing my second year of PhD at the UB (supervisor: Prof. Joaquin A. Proenza) where we investigate Platinum Group Minerals (PGM) found within so called "non-conventional" PGE deposits.
My special interests within the geological field are mineral processing and exploration techniques.
My spare time I like to spend with friends (mountain climbing, beach, cinema) or by reading a book in one of the wonderful parks of Barcelona.
